Akka came to us with his littermate Athena.  They like being together, but we believe they would be fine apart, too.   Akka is shy around new people and will make a lot of noise when a visitor comes around, but when we took him to an adoption event, he enjoyed saying hi to all the people who came to say hi to him.  Akka does like to climb and perch on things, such as chairs, tables, and counters.  Akka and Athena might be part cat!!!  Speaking of cats, we aren't sure how he would do with them, but he seems to do fine with children, although it might take him a bit to get used to very tiny people.  Akka is crated trained and pee-pad trained and housebroken when kept on a schedule (so he's a dachshund).   Akka doesn't mind other dogs, but would probably prefer a home with just one or two other little dogs if he's not with Athena.

The adoption fee will be $350 for Akka.  He is up to date on all of his vetting.
