Mighty Mouse aka “Eugene”

His foster has taken to calling him Eugene, because she just can’t bring herself to call a 15-year-old black and tan standard dachshund Mighty Mouse.  So, Eugene it is.  Eugene was surrendered because his owner of 15 year is too ill to care for him.  

Eugene is a slow-moving old dog.  Until a vet tries to touch his feet, mouth, or belly.  Then apparently he’s Cujo.  But mostly he’s just chill.  He loves to eat and sleep.  As long as he gets outside frequently, he doesn’t seem to have any accidents.  He doesn’t like to be left alone---most of the time when left alone he will sleep but sometimes he will bark.  He isn’t bothered by/with other dogs.  He might be deaf.  So, he’s an old man who wants to do old man things!!!
