Kira came to be a K Kid with her two puppies, who look like tiny chihuahuas.  Kira has some trust issues.  Kira is being fostered at the K Kids fostering headquarters, AKA Amanda and George's house.  We've had a couple hundred fosters pass through our house, and some have been really afraid of people.  But none have been quite like Kira.  Kira so desperately wants to be loved.  She spent the first week at our house hiding in a corner.  If we managed to catch her, she would shake for a minute or two then snuggle in to us and go to sleep.  After 3 weeks, she moved into general population----willing to hang out on couches in the living room.  She also will allow Amanda (the mom of the family) to pet her and pick her up.  But she's still very skiddish overall.  She is so conflicted, though.  She wags her tail and barks at us when we get home----she is SO happy to see us.  Then she runs away when we approach her.  

Kira is going to need someone to be patient with her.  She is going to come around; I'm sure of it.  She desperately wants to be loved.  She doesn't bite or growl---she just runs to "safety".

Our house is chaos.  It would be good for Kira to have a place where she can learn to trust people and enjoy the cuddles she so desperately wants.
