Hi I am Winston and I am a young energetic good looking (if I do say so myself) wire haired dachshund mix...mostly dachshund I am told and Foster Mom is trying to figure out what the other part is...I was evidently picked up as a stray, I appeared to have been taken good care of, I had been chipped (didn't lead to anything) and guess what..I smelled like shampoo!  They say I am rather territorial about toys and food and treats so that's something we will need to work on together but you know what?  I am potty trained!  That's a big one for dachshunds or so I am told.  I am affectionate, I follow Foster Mom around all the time, and I like to cuddle on her lap. We are still trying to get some pics that do justice to me...but anyway, if you think there might be room in your home and your heart for someone like me, please let us know and let's get started on forever.  Woof and I love you already!
