MUST LOVE KISSES!

Pacey is a 1-2 yr old dachshund mix who just can’t stop showing his love. It might take a few minutes for him to decide he’s ok with you, but once he does you will have your best friend snuggled up right beside you on the couch.

Pacey will need a family who understands he’s been shuffled around and will give him time to feel safe. He sometimes has a nervous bladder in uncomfortable situations, but is potty trained if you keep him on schedule. His foster mom has said his nervous bladder has already improved after only 2 weeks of being with them. When he is feeling very stressed, he will snap at anyone who reaches their hand out to touch him so for that reason Pacey will need a home without young children. He gets along well with his dachshund foster sister, but can sometimes be a little jealous when he has to share attention. This has also gotten much better in the time he’s spent in his foster home.

This love bug will make a great pet for the family who understands he will need time to feel secure in his new home. He does great in the car, enjoys bath time, and doesn’t require a lot of exercise. He wants to be a good boy and rewards you with so much love if you go slow and let him know what you expect of him.
