Hi! I’m Buddy! Let’s start by clearing up a common misconception: I’m not old. I’m just currently hairless, okay? It’ll grow back. We think it’s already starting to grow back! You see, some dude who was supposed to be taking care of me kept me in a basement for the last six years. He went to jail, and I ended up in a shelter. I took a long ride in a van, and then a nice lady gave me a bath. I went to the vet, and they checked my skin and my thyroid. Everything was fine. They think my hair fell out because of my horrible living conditions and probably a terrible diet. Foster Mom gave me another bath and scrubbed all the gross crusty hair clumps and scabs off of me so I could start to grow a new coat. Oh, and I get a dental in a few days. I had to be on an antibiotic for a week before I could have a dental because my teeth are so rotten. One of my teeth just fell out of my mouth the other day. Seriously.  Oh, and I’m going to be neutered, too, which foster mom is excited about because I try to do something called “marking” and I have also made a pillow my girlfriend. The little human girl at my house has had some questions about my behavior. Foster mom distracts her (and me) with cookies.    I’m such a sweet boy. I give kisses and love to cuddle. I like to sleep in the big bed and I like to run around and play and bark.  I’m so happy to be living the life that I deserve, finally.  Can I come live out the rest of my days on your couch? Maybe keep a dog bed in a sunny spot?  I love walks. I love kids. Dogs are cool. I don’t seem to mind cats.    Wanna hang out forever?
