Gretel is a 12 year old small standard girl (her ideal weight is probably around 20 lbs). She was an owner surrender with her brother Hansel following a divorce (they are not bonded).

Gretel is a sweetheart. She is housebroken as long as you get her outside on a schedule. She LOVES toys. She likes other dogs but would be fine as an only dog. Due to her build/weight, she can go down stairs , but going up them is not possible. She is incredibly cuddly and loves to snuggle. She is a barker. It’s almost like she’s a dachshund.

Gretel has some minor plaque build up on her teeth and her adopter should plan to have a dental done in a couple of years. Otherwise, she’s in fabulous health and just needs some extra walkies to help
