Hi my name is Hershey and Foster Mom says I am a beautiful long haired dachshund who is very vocal about everything!  At first if I could not be in her lap or next to her I whined until the problem was resolved to my satisfaction but I have now found a new nest…the back of Foster Mom’s couch where I am currently perched!  I sit up and beg for treats and I love to eat.  I do love to have a lap to sleep on and I need someone to love me as much as I deserve.  I did great on my first walk.  I was very unsure of myself on a leash at first but by the end of the walk I was perfect.  In typical doxie fashion I barked at Foster Mom’s neighborhood roaming dog who is about four times my size!  We are working on potty training but that might just be my nerves…You see I was surrendered with my older sister by the only human mom we had ever known,  Because there was not a foster mom who could take us both we split up and I am okay with that, especially since my sis Bella has already been adopted by her foster mom’s parents!  We also believe I am great with kids because there were a tot of them in my previous home, but Foster Mom will check all that out.  Woof and I love you already!
